S.O.819(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Spices Cess Act, 1986 (11 of 1986), the Central government hereby specifies 0% (Zero percent) ad-valorem as the rate of cess on export of all scheduled spices in any form including currey powder, spice oil, oleoresin and other mixtures where spice content is predominant, by the Export Oriented Units and the Unit in the Export Processing Zones and Special Economic Zones, with immediate effect.
